This free service is available to faculty, students with current Georgian College library card, college staff, alumni with current alumni card and Barrie Public Library (BPL) members with current BPL library card. Rama Mnjikaning First Nations (RMFN) Library members with current RMFN library card.
Intercampus Loan enables you to borrow materials from one of the other campus libraries at Georgian College. (Exception: overseas campuses). Photocopies must meet the requirements of Georgian College ACCESS COPYRIGHT. You may borrow any available item with the exception of Reference and Reserve materials.
How to use the Intercampus Loan Services
First check BIBCAT (Georgian College's online catalogue) to see if the other campuses have the material you want and if it is available. Provide a full and accurate bibliographic citation, including: author, title, place and date of publication, and pages (if chapter in a book). This information is found in your catalogue and database search. Please specify campus location.
Submit your request at the Customer Service Desk.
Timeframe
- Transfers between campuses take approximately 1-3 business days.
- Photocopies can be faxed within 1-2 business days.
